This will be my first post on my new blog page. As we enter into the busy season of face painting and balloons, I will be holding my second workshop of the year. The first was with the very talented and amazing Gina Niemi from Grants Pass Oregon. She came down on Feb 7th I picked her up at the airport and we had dinner and I got her settled in. We had a great chat about the class she was teaching the next day. Feb 8th we went to the work shop we had a great day. So many people came from Minneapolis,Wisconsin, and Iowa it was a great time learning from Gina and meeting new friends and seeing old ones. Look forward to the next time I can have her down.

The second workshop Im hosting will be April 26th here in Lacrosse Wisconsin with the amazing balloon artist Mark Garvey of Papa Balloon Family Entertainment. Mark has been twisting Balloons for over 30 years and has agreed to come and teach a class for those of us here in the Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin area. I look forward to learning from him and seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

This year looks to be a very  busy with work and learning tons of new things as this industry of face painting and balloon twisting has so much to offer and is always changing so there is always something new to learn.
